Description

The Blue Smart IP22 Charger is the new professional battery charger with built-in Bluetooth. The Blue Smart IP22 Charger can be used on devices in your workshop and on motor vehicles, such as (classic) cars; motorbikes; boats and campervans.

Bluetooth Smart Enabled: Allowing you to change settings and install updates as new features become available with the Victron Connect App.

High Efficiency: Up to 94% efficiency, generating up to four times less heat when compared to industry standard, with a no load power drawer of just 0.5W.

Victron Connect: The Victron Connect App lets you program, as well as get live status and historical information from your Victron products.

Historical Data: View historical data for the last 40 charge cycles, including start and end voltages, time spent in each charging cycle, amp-hours charged, completion status for each charge, and the charge profile used.

Adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm: Features a microprocessor controlled “adaptive” battery management, allowing it to automatically optimize the charging process relative to the way the battery is being used.

Storage Mode:  Provides less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use. This storage mode will start automatically whenever the battery has not been discharged within the last 24 hours. During Storage Mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for a 12V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to “equalize” the battery. The feature prevents stratification of the electrolyte and sulfation, which is the major cause of early battery failure.

Lithium Batteries (LiFePO4): Lithium batteries are charged with a simple BULK / ABSORPTION / FLOAT algorithm.

NIGHT and LOW setting: When in NIGHT or LOW mode the output current is reduced to a maximum of 25% of the nominal output, allowing for the charger to operate in quiet mode. This NIGHT mode will end automatically after 8 hours, whilst the LOW mode can be ended manually.

Over temperature protection: Current will automatically reduce above 50^oC.
